Overview
Last checked: September 2026. Turkish visa fees and rules can change, so always confirm the latest details on the official Türkiye e-Visa portal and the website of the Embassy of Türkiye in Islamabad before you apply.
Türkiye (Turkey) is one of the most popular holiday destinations for Pakistani travellers, known for Istanbul’s history, Cappadocia’s landscapes, shopping and beach resorts. Pakistani passport holders need a visa before travelling. There are two routes, and which one you use depends on whether you hold certain other visas.
Route 1: Conditional e-Visa (Online)
You can apply for a Turkish e-Visa online if you hold a valid visa or residence permit from the United States, United Kingdom, Ireland or a Schengen country. The e-Visa usually allows a single entry and a stay of up to 30 days. The fee for your nationality is shown on the official portal before you pay.
Apply only on the official website, evisa.gov.tr. Many unofficial websites look similar but charge much higher fees.
Route 2: Sticker Visa (Embassy or Visa Centre)
If you do not meet the e-Visa conditions, you need a sticker visa from the Embassy of Türkiye or its authorised visa application centre in Pakistan. At the time of writing, a three-month single-entry tourist visa costs PKR 52,200, and processing usually takes about six weeks or more. The visa centre may charge a separate service fee.
Because processing is slow, apply well before your travel date and avoid buying non-refundable tickets until your visa is approved.
Tips for a Strong Application
- Show stable income and a regular bank history rather than a sudden large deposit.
- Include a clear travel plan with hotel bookings for your whole stay.
- Submit an employment letter or business documents that show you will return to Pakistan.
- Declare any previous visa refusals honestly.
